Something New to See

How would you like to spend some free (literally) time with a world-class putting instructor? Just visit the new SeeMore Putters web site and click on the “instructional video” link toward the top of the home page to view a five-segment video featuring Pat O’Brien. The video introduces Mr. Obrien’s simple yet effective approach to putting, including tips on arm position and posture. Of course, he also talks about SeeMore Putters and the company’s signature RifleScope alignment system, but that’s a fair price of admission.

Pat O’Brien is the putting instructor to Zach Johnson and Vaughn Taylor, two young putting powerhouses (and U.S. Ryder Cup teammates). O’Brien developed some of his putting theories while watching the late Payne Stewart work the greens. You may recall Stewart’s seminal triumph at the 1999 U.S. Open at Pinehurst, where he recorded just 24 putts in the final round, with one putts at holes 16, 17 and 18 to win the tournament by one stroke. I need not tell you what brand of putter Mr. Stewart was using on that remarkable afternoon (hint: SeeMore).

By the way, you’ll be seeing more of SeeMore Putters, both here and elsewhere, now that the company has just been re-launched with new ownership, new putters and a new vision that will breathe new life into the SeeMore legacy. Stay tuned.
