Major Winners Go for Odyssey Gold

During our recent insider’s tour of the Odyssey putting lab at the Ely Callaway Performance Center in Carlsbad, California, we got a gander at numerous gold-plated putters that represent Odyssey’s biggest tour achievements.

Indeed, the gold putters are given to players who use an Odyssey putter to win a major championship, including non-Odyssey staffers. These include players on PGA, LPGA and Champions tours. Phil Mickelson, Annika Sorenstam, Padraig Harrington and Graeme McDowell are among the heavy hitters in Odyssey’s gold putter gallery that lines the hallway.

Meanwhile, the adjacent putting lab features a “wall of fame” signed by Odyssey professionals, as well as other professional golfers, athletes and celebrities who have come to get fit at the Ely Callaway Performance Center. Signatures include Arnold Palmer, Gary Player (pictured here), Wayne Gretzky, Condoleeza Rice and  Justin Tuck of the New York Giants.
