Rife Iconic Putter Wins Masters Par 3

Do you get a mini green jacket when you win the exhibition Par 3 Contest at the Masters?

Anyhow, the newly reborn Rife Putters just got a feather in its cap as Ted Potter, Jr. rode the new Rife Iconic putter to victory at Wednesday’s little tourney at Augusta National.

The bad news for Potter is that no golfer has ever won the Par 3 Contest and the Masters in the same week, dating back to the inaugural contest in 1960. The good news for Rife is that two other players are using its putters this week, so they still have a chance to outwit the curse.

The Iconic putter belongs to Rife’s new Vault 001 Series line. It features Rife’s Horizontal RollGroove technology, which features widely spaced grooves that are designed to produce immediate forward roll.
