Sean Weir is a recreational golfer with a background in journalism and marketing. He launched PutterZone.com in early 2007 after he went online in search of a web site that would help him make sense of the many putters on the market, something that would cut through the jargon and give him the inside scoop. He says, “Essentially, I was looking for a site just like PutterZone.com—but such a site didn’t exist. So I created it. For me, it was an opportunity to provide a resource for the average golfer, to indulge my passion for reporting and journalism, and to have a great excuse to spend more time on the putting green.”
